The Challenge
Henne Strand Resort sits on the Danish west coast within reach of the Vestkystruten cycling route, with cabin accommodation suited to multi-day riders and a kitchen capable of serving plant-based guests. Neither of these things was clearly visible in the resort's existing content. What was available online reflected the resort as a leisure destination broadly, not as a practical basecamp for cycling travelers, and the vegan hospitality offering went unmentioned.

THE APPROACH
RPR used the resort as a three-night gravelbike basecamp in April 2026, staying in a Lärkerede cabin and riding out daily into the surrounding landscape, including a full day to Blåvandshuk. The stay was documented as it happened: the Lärkerede cabin, meals and breakfast, the beach and dunes at Henne Strand, and the full day out to Blåvandshuk. The photographs were made the same way RPR makes all its content: documentary rather than directed, showing the experience rather than staging it. The material was delivered to Henne Strand via a shared gallery for their own use.

The Outcome
Henne Strand received a selection of documentary images and video covering the accommodation and the cycling experience in the surrounding area, available for their own use without restrictions. RPR prepared a joint Instagram post for co-publication and covered the stay in the RPR newsletter. Following the trip, RPR noted in writing that the kitchen was able to accommodate plant-based guests on request, and had done so well throughout the stay, but that this was not visible anywhere on the website. Given the limited options for vegan travelers in that part of Jutland, RPR suggested this was worth communicating clearly.
Documentary photographs and short video material, licensed to Henne Strand Resort for free use; one joint Instagram post prepared for co-publication; coverage in the RPR newsletter dispatch.
The gallery looks fantastic, and you've captured both the atmosphere and the cycling experience around Henne Strand Resort incredibly well.
