From the challenging tarmac to the unpredictable trails, last weekend’s ride through the Luneburg Heath was nothing short of a roller-coaster on wheels. We tasted the wild mix of terrains – each one holding a secret surprise and demanding its own set of skills. But, oh, those views!
Whether we were pushing through sandy mini-deserts or hauling our bikes up a steep, root-filled hill, every drop of sweat seemed to have a purpose. Each obstacle was a stepping stone, leading us to a magical moment overlooking the Totengrund, or to an unexpected hero: a simple water sprinkler, offering a cooling mist at just the right moment.
These are the rides that remind us why we love cycling – the raw challenge, the unscripted adventures, and the way the road always seems to give back more than it takes
